MDAC v2.8 Installation Instructions:
If Net MDAC v2.8 is not already installed on your machine, you will not be able to create a key pair within CHIA Cryptor. You may also have difficulties with the CHIA Report Manager. MDAC (Microsoft Data Access Components) is a set of tools that Microsoft created to enable communication between programs and databases. It is a good idea to have it installed on your computer even if you don't use CHIA programs. The components are found in the file MDAC_TYP.EXE. Save this file to an easy to remember location such as "My Documents". Using Windows Explorer, go to the location of the file. Double click “MDAC_TYP.EXE” - this will install the data access components. Follow onscreen instructions. |
